10 Best Places To Visit In Japan. From glimmering skyscrapers and neon lights, to traditional tea shops and geisha, Japan is a charming confluence of new and old with a distinct character that separates it from the rest of Asia.
With so much to see and do it can be difficult to know where to start, so to help inspire you we’ve listed ten of the very best places to visit. 1: Tokyo. With over 12 million people, Tokyo is one of the largest cities in the world. With its huge skyscrapers, underpasses, overpasses and crowds of pedestrians, Tokyo may not seem the most attractive city on the surface, but the city has a vibrant charm all of its own and the street level detail is what makes Tokyo such an incredibly interesting place to explore https://freshfromfinland.com/the-story-of-bengi-the-jungle-himself/. The city has many major sights to visit such as Senso‐ji Temple in the old downtown area of Asakusa or the fashion hub of Shibuya from where all new trends are said to emanate. 2: Hakone. The beautiful national park in the Hakone area is around 50 miles west of Tokyo and just to the south of Mount Fuji, Japan's most sacred peak. The area consists of a handful of small villages and hamlets all connected by a variety of local transport, including buses, cable cars and a mountain railway. Hakone has plenty to see and do, from tasting eggs boiled in volcanic waters to taking a boat trip across beautiful Lake Ashi. Or maybe you will just sit back and relax whilst soaking in one of the many therapeutic hot spring baths. 3: Kyoto. Home to 17 UNESCO World Heritage sites, over 1,600 Buddhist temples and 400 Shinto shrines, this ancient city showcases the heart and soul of traditional Japan. Kyoto boasts an array of world‐class gardens, majestic festivals and delicate cuisine, all of which make much of the rhythms of nature and the changing of the seasons. Grid‐like Kyoto does have its fair share of neon and concrete, but the discerning eye will soon pick out Kyoto’s sacred shrines, time‐honoured teahouses and mysterious geisha hidden down the quiet alleyways. 4: Nara. Just 40 minutes by local train from Kyoto, Nara is renowned for the wealth of its Buddhist and Shinto heritage. Nara was formerly the end of the Silk Road and was the area which first saw Buddhist teaching making the transition across the ocean from China. The myriad of shrines and temples are all set against the backdrop of the low lying mountains and in the midst of Nara Park, which is home to a vast population of pesky deer, who will happily munch on your guide books and anything else they can get their noses into. 5: Kinosaki Onsen. For the quintessential Japanese hot spring destination, look no further than Kinosaki Onsen. The town boasts seven bathhouses which sit among pretty streets of traditional wooden buildings and narrow bridges. Visitors to Kinosaki Onsen enjoy a stay in a Japanese inn where sumptuous cuisine is served at low tables in tatami rooms. Afterwards guests dress in provided ‘yukata’ and ‘geta’, light kimonos and wooden sandals, and take to the streets for a pleasant evening stroll around town. 6: Hiroshima. Hiroshima is a city that needs little introduction. It is of course infamous for being the site of one of two atomic bombs dropped on Japan at the end of World War II. Despite it's tragic past, Hiroshima is now a bustling and vibrant city. The Peace Park and Museum are a poignant reminder of Hiroshima's past; other attractions include Hiroshima Castle, the baseball stadium and the Hiroshima Prefectural Museum of Art. Shukkei‐en Garden is also well worth an afternoon stroll with a number of tea houses dotted about the grounds. 7: Osaka. Osaka is Japan's second city and an extremely vibrant and lively place to stay. The city aquarium is world class and you cannot stay in Osaka without taking a ride on one of the city's several giant ferris wheels. Osaka Castle is well worth a visit despite being a reconstruction as the original was burnt down at the end of World War Two and you will find a variety of very interesting museums scattered throughout the city. After dark Osaka really comes alive, and a walk through the bright lights of the Nanba district is a great way to take in the atmosphere, with some great people‐watching opportunities. 8: Kamakura. Just 50km from Tokyo, Kamakura is a world away from the lights and action of Japan’s buzzing capital. This peaceful city operates at a much more leisurely pace of life and is brimming with gorgeous buildings, quaint cafes and temples galore. The main feature of the city is the Great Buddha of Kamakura, a bronze statue which dominates a plaza in the city. For some more cultural enrichment, travellers should head to one of the numerous temples that speckle the region of Kamakura. If the weather is nice, another popular hotspot for visitors and locals alike is the Itsuki Garden, a delightful spot of natural beauty. Grab a drink or a bite to eat at the cafe and immerse yourself in the serenity of your surroundings. You might even be able to see the Great Buddha in the distance if it’s a clear day. 9: Himeji. Tucked away on the coast of Japan, looking out over the Harima Nada Sea, Himeji is the home of the most beautiful castle in the entire country. Sitting on a raised brick platform, the castle gleams pearly white and is adorned with numerous pointed roofs, each one lined with traditional decor. It becomes even more stunning when the cherry blossoms bloom, surrounding the castle with a haze of pink. It is both a beautiful sight and an important one because of its historical significance. Dating back to 1333, the castle was passed down from hand to hand during Japan’s feudal times and survived numerous battles, natural disasters and even proposed demolitions until it was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1993. Once you’ve taken in the castle, take a wander through Himeji town and cast your eye over its crumbling buildings, relics of a bygone era. 10: Miyajima. Translating as ‘Shrine Island’, Miyajima is by far and away one of the most popular destinations in Japan – and with good reason. The island’s pride and joy is its Itsukushima shrine and particularly the Torii Gate, which is built in the sea and is often referred to as the ‘floating shrine’. This gate is considered to be the boundary between the living and the dead and in order to maintain its purity, births and deaths are forbidden from taking place near it. Another unique feature of this region is the deer that can be found in every nook and cranny of the island. These cheeky animals will steal the food right out of your hand if you’re not careful. According to the Shinto religion, the deer are sacred as it is believed that they are the messengers of God. The island also has an aquarium, which is well worth visiting.

And at a TV table, they're practically unheard of. So Tedeschi is all in with a set of queens, but there's still monster draw action on the side. The river card-- it's the ace of hearts, a royal flush for McCallister. No way.
Rabah is betting. It doesn't matter what his cards are, he can't win. All in. With his royal flush, McAllister shoves on Rabah. I know you're sick, but I don't know if you're that sick. He's not that sick. Peppercorn. [INAUDIBLE] Ah! Look at this baller. Rabah let's it go. Fold at a flush? [INTERPOSING VOICES] King 10 clubs, yeah https://casinoslots.sg/online-casino-bonuses? Royalize. McAllister came third in the tournament, but he definitely got all the cool points for that one. Number two is from Barcelona 2012. It's one of those crazy hands where fortune changes with every card. How do you not call at this? It's juicier that a velour sweatsuit. He calls. Vladimir Troynovskey has jack, queen, in the small blind. He calls. Martin Schleich with ace deuce in the big blind. Not juicy, dominated, out of position, but he's getting better than 8 to 1. He calls as well. Seriously? Five players to the flop? Which is queen, queen, six-- Oh my God! Bring out the stretcher. Check to the raiser. Somebody is going home in a body bag. Theo Jorgenson does not continue with less than 1% equity. He's built an amazing pot for someone. Nicolaisen thinks it's him. But right now, it's Poplavskis with the full house. And he bet 6,500. Nicolaisen and with trip queens will call. Troynovskey also with trip queens. For this stack, I think we're fairly likely to see a shove here. This is going to be a shame. He needs 15,000. He only has 13,000. He is all in. Schleich and Jorgenson fold. Poplavskis is falling less often here than a guy who always wears wrinkled clothes. I don't know. He's never folding. He reshoves. What does Nicolaisen do now? I think he should sometimes be able to find a fold here, but no. He calls, so Troynovskey and Nicolaisen both at risk and both way behind. A 10 on the turn sees Nicolaisen improve to a better full house. That is just horrific. And the jack on the river sees Troynovskey win the pot. What is happening here? The dealer just went over to Poplavskis' house. Let himself in the front door, went to the kitchen, and ate his lunch. Well, from that understated reaction to the greatest reaction of all time. The award definitely goes to the Brazilian Series of Poker and this epic hand at number line. All in. [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] [EXCITED ERUPTION] Wow! Wow! Hooray! Wow! [NON-ENGLISH EXCITEMENT] [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] Wow, wow, wow! Even Aaron Sorkin couldn't have scripted that hand better. Even flaps, pretty funny. It was a play to five. I don't know if you're that sick. Those were the top five Hollywood hands. Now to more countdowns at PokerStars TV. [MUSIC PLAYING] In the movies, there are bluffs, coolers, and bad beats, that flirt with implausibility, but create the maximum amount of onscreen drama. That couldn't possibly happen in real life, right? Well, here are the top five hands that look like they were scripted in Hollywood, but were actually pulled straight from our expanded PokerStars vault.
Without the glove [INAUDIBLE] I like it. Love you too, Kris. At number five, three unlucky players and one incredibly fortunate one. With only thirteen remaining in the Prague Main Event in 2015, this happened. I'm all in. I'm [INAUDIBLE] in front of you, then you wake up with kings. You got two players behind. You have no choice, you have to put it in. I'm all in. We have a four way all in, with three players at risk. I saw an ease, but after these crazy decisions before me, I just snapped, folded. [INAUDIBLE] The flub was crazy. And everybody, like at home, they were watching it live. They were getting mad. A triple elimination. That is awesome. This I mean, I feel bad for all of the guys that just got cold-decked, but that was sick. Living the dream. It's, like, incredible, you know? I was really happy with that situation, obviously, because I'm a short stick. And then I secured my spot at the final table without playing a hand. My telephone was bursting after that pass. I don't think I will ever forget that part. The unbelievable part of that hand is that kings held up. Number four is probably the best way to end the tournament, remove the sweat after the flop. On Poker After Dark, two legends were heads up the 600 grand and bragging rights. [INAUDIBLE] Another good hand for Huck on the button. Raise it to 20,000. And Ivey's got a pocket pair as well. All in? No, I'll call that. Raise it to 85,000. Yeah. And then all in and a call. Yeah. --and a call. [INAUDIBLE] And just like that, all the chips hit the middle and Phil Ivey is in rough shape. No. Maybe I get lucky. I'll chop it now, if you want the whole twenty. Huck Seed a better than four to one favorite, heading to the flop. Looking for diamonds. Six, six, six-- here she comes. [INTERPOSING VOICES] Goodnight, Phil. [INAUDIBLE] Game over, wow. [INAUDIBLE] [INTERPOSING VOICES] Quad eights on the flop, means Phil Ivey was drawn dead. And Huck Seed is this week's champion. That's Huck's excited face. Now from watching poker in the movies, you'd think that royal flushes are a common occurrence. Well, we all know they are rare. RUSTY: In September, while covering the Las Vegas Pickleball Open, we had a chance to learn more details about this unique venue. From players to staff and even the CEO of Plaza Hotel and Casino, and find out why they chose to gamble on pickleball at this legendary site. Hey, it's Rusty from Pickleball Channel and we are at the world famous Plaza Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas. This unique venue has got pickleball courts poolside. Hey everybody, I'm joined by Grant Garcia of Plaza Hotel and Casino.
Grant, thanks for being here. Why don't you share with folks why you guys are excited about pickleball? GRANT: Well, we're excited about pickleball because its obviously the fastest growing sport. We built these courts a little over 2 years ago for locals to enjoy as well as it being an additional amenity for the hotel guests. We've got camps, clinics, additional tournaments planned for the future, so we're very excited for the future. RUSTY: And now I'm joined by Jason and Sheri. You guys, where did you come from to come to the tournament? JASON: We're down from Soldotna, Alaska. RUSTY: And how's it going? JASON: It's going great. We're having a lot of fun. Brought our three kids. Enjoying the pool. We're enjoying a bunch of rec play. It's great. And enjoying the weather. RUSTY: Now I'm joined by Brian and Valerie who are players and guest here. You guys, thanks for taking a little moment. How's been things for you? BRIAN: Oh, this is great. This is one of the best tournaments we've been to. We literally have the best room in this whole hotel. We're literally feet away from the pickleball courts. We can watch it from our room. We are steps away from the jacuzzi, steps away from the pool. And this has been awesome. We won gold yesterday in the mixed doubles, so we're totally happy. RUSTY: So, Jonathan, thank you so much for taking some time out of your busy schedule to talk to me, to talk to our audience. So when people think about Las Vegas, they think about hotels and casinos. Tell us a little bit about what makes Plaza Hotel and Casino unique, and why pickleball? JONATHAN: Absolutely. Firstly, thank you for having me. It's great to be here. RUSTY: My pleasure. JONATHAN: We're sitting at one Main Street. This is the center of downtown Las Vegas. This is where it all began. And there's so much happening down here, so much new development, new excitement happening down here. Last week we had this Life is Beautiful Festival which brought 35,000 people to downtown. The week before that was the Nascar races in Las Vegas. The week before that we had the big blues band here. We're a diverse property. We just launched a new show called "The Mob Story" which is all about how the mob created Vegas, and it's a musical with amazing dancing. We have the Bingo room upstairs. We're sitting in Oscar's Steakhouse. And so we have a lot of different amenities here, and different sort of attractions, and pickleball just made sense. And we had this perfect space up on our 5th floor pool deck that wasn't being utilized, and I had the opportunity to meet with a few, I guess they call themselves, pickleball ambassadors. And they blew me away with their enthusiasm and their passion for the game. When they told me that no hotel and casino had dedicated pickleball courts, I said, "We're going to be the first one." It just seemed like something we should jump on and get behind, and that's why we built these courts. And communities continue to grow. And we get people stay here because of it. We launched this week the Las Vegas Pickleball Open which is off to a great start. And demographic is great for downtown and the Plaza, and I hope we have many, many more events here and grow the community supporting this game because it's a fun game. I love it. RUSTY: Well, thank you again for your time and for everything Plaza Hotel and Casino is doing to invest in the sport of pickleball. JONATHAN: Thank you, thank you, thank you very much. It's been great. Hello, my friends are Monday, I'm the founder and CEO of roulette how to win calm. I want to showing you something that might helping you understand when you are getting at Roulette and the difference between the tables. Now there are many of you who tell me a joke. I like to play life roulette and I don't like to play RNG roulette now. You need to understand something about any roulette, and here I have a proof so when we are playing a roulette in this manner in this role at which you see here one moment to charge.
So what you see here this red when you spin very fast? Yes, so this is rng. This is electronic orangey. Alright, now, let's go outside from here and let's go to casino life https://www.casinoslots.co.nz/online-roulette. Now here on casino life is the same thing, because casino life roulette works with sensors. So any time when you see that the group here is spinning the ball, it doesn't have any access to that because it is only the same sort worked exactly in in the ruler. So, every time when somebody is telling you that there is a difference between live red and orange in roulette, it doesn't know what he's talking about now. If you watch a live roulette session and you watch how the spinning is feeling very weird, you will learn and you will understand that he's working with sensors, so the roulette. You need to know that he's knowing where the ball will land before landing in that number. So if we take the live red or the RNG roulette, all right, so we are here in RNG, roulette roulette is knowing exactly where it lands. Okay. So let me explain you why I beat red for me 11 years, so now it's number 30, as you can see here, the last number is 30. All right. When I spin up all roulette is knowing the next number which it will play. So when I play one, he is knowing from beginning that it will play one it's electronic now is the same with live roulette, but live red worked with. Sensors is the same electronic, but with sensors. So every time when a ball is landing, is landing by sensors. Roulette knows from previously where the bell will land, so it doesn't have a none access the droopier. Now this is fault because thirty years ago, 60 years ago, when the roulette was mechanical, all the croupier have learned where the ball will land a group of zones where the bar will land support of that they didn't like it, the casino owners they didn't like it. That repairs have so much power to know exactly when the ball will land. So this is why, from 30 years now, we have only electronic roulette. Even if we talk a live bullet or orangey-red, it's electronic. Let me help you because I know what I'm talking about, because I am master from 11 years now. If is somebody on the internet? Who can help you first? He must showing himself first he must giving you some free stuff, as I'm giving you, because if you watch all my tutorials from YouTube, you learn 90 % of the knowledge of roulette. Of course, the most powerful thing we talk in side, members area when you buy the DVD 5000 euro, but all my knowledge. If you watch previously my videos from YouTube, you will learn 90 % of the roulette which nobody knows about left. So I suggest you to start and play a roulette with my secrets, because roulette cannot be beaten in way. You are thinking that you can beat red red is beaten only in one and only in one way, when you will pay the DVD 5000. You know you were gonna learn and you will know how to beat red now. If you go to my website any website, you will not see the sessions made with my students. You will notice these sessions, which are made in VIP in casual mode in professional mode in real money. This is the most important you are not good. If you make money in fun mode, you are good when you win money in real mode, and this is what I'm teaching you remember that, because if you want to beat casinos, you need to be pragmatic, one, you need to know the secret. The error Roulette are making and you need to start having some money because you will make money with my secrets. ob hunting is like dating – sometimes you know straight from the get-go that it’s a horrible fit, and other times it may take a few days (or months) to find out that it’s not meant to be. Just like being dumped, being fired can make you feel heartbroken and give you a fair share of baggage. It’s common for everyone to feel apprehensive about certain things on their resume, which often leads individuals to ask whether or not it is wise to lie about having been fired.
This article is not going to give you a clear-cut “yes or no,” as this is truly a personal call you have to make for yourself. Instead, it’s going to arm you with the facts and ideas to help you reach an educated conclusion on to how you’re going to answer interview questions about being fired. How to Avoid the Question If the job lasted a brief amount of time: Depending on the thoroughness of the interviewer, don’t automatically assume that the question of whether or not you were fired will even be brought forth to the table. The first red flag that an employer will spot is a short duration in a role; if the position on the top of your resume is anything less than a year, it signifies an unhealthy working relationship, regardless of which party initiated the departure. This will undoubtedly evoke the question of why commitment was abnormally brief. So how do you avoid this? Remember, you don’t have to put every job that you’ve ever one on your resume. If the job lasted less than six months or demonstrates similarskills that you also exhibited in another one of your previous roles, consider striking the position from your resume entirely. Therefore, you won’t even have to lie about being fired. If you choose this option, remember to remove the job from your LinkedIn account as well. After all, almost every supervisor and HR professional utilizes this social media platform to thoroughly dive into a candidate’s experience, so inconsistencies will raise suspicions. If you are unemployed for a prolonged period: Being unemployed for long stretches of a time can be emotionally taxing for numerous reasons; not only are your financial insecurities rising as your savings dwindles, but you are also faced with having to explain a long period of joblessness to interviewers. Before you even think it, I must come out and say, do not even consider fabricating fake job histories. To make the months of unemployment seem a little less empty, be aggressive when finding freelance opportunities. In addition to providing some monetary assistance, you will be able to honestly detail “what you’ve been up to” since your last full-time role, and you may be able to list the individuals you’re freelancing for as references. Depending on your skill set, there are plenty of websites out there that connect private contractors to interested parties, including Elance. If you can’t find someone to pay you for your services, consider volunteering your expertise to a nonprofit close to your heart. Ways to Gauge the Risk of Lying about Being Fired Just like it’s smart to prepare for a whole host of different interview queries, you must have a prepared answer as to why you were fired. It’s tempting to lie. However, this is a strategy that only works if you get away with it, so consider whether or not this tactic is risky. Consider the following before you lie about being fired: • What will your former employer say if called upon for a reference or confirmation? Don’t jump to conclusions and assume that your former supervisor will badmouth you to a new prospective employer. By providing you with a negative review, a company may be making itself vulnerable to a lawsuit, so many of them would rather confirm the dates of employment and do nothing more. It is reasonable to contact your once-boss or the HR department and inquire as to how much they would disclose if an interviewer called. • Is your industry a “small world”? Depending on the specifics of your chosen career th, there is a chance that your former CEO may be grabbing drinks next week with your future CEO. Remember, if you’re caught lying about being fired, your overall reputation is at stake. • Who is asking the question? It’s safe to assume than an HR professional – whose job it is to designate significant amounts of time to finding the right candidate – is going to be a lot more thorough with the background check than someone who would be your immediate supervisor. If they’re investigating whether or not you have a criminal history; having you take a drug test; or are putting you on a probational period to ensure that you use resume editor , understand that lying about being fired is especially risky. How to Tell the Truth Yes, telling the truth is a viable alternative to lying about being fired. Take into consideration the following points when crafting your explanation for your termination. • Have you since corrected the injurious habit that caused you to be terminated? For arguments sake, were you fired from your last full-time role because of consistently turning work in late, but have since greatly improved your time management? If you have since obtained a part-time job or freelance gig, seek to obtain letters of recommendation that seek specifically to your punctuality and accountability. • Were you fired for personal reasons? Your interviewer may or may not be understanding that not all employers are perfect or unbiased. Do not fall for the temptation to badmouth the person that fired you and, instead, simply explain that you did not agree with everything that went on in the environment, and that both parties understood it wasn’t a good match. If asked for details, decline “out of respect for my former employer.” If possible, produce references and letters of recommendations from coworkers and managers that you know would stand by your work output at the job you were fired from. • Consider whether you were a victim of the greater picture. There are often circumstances that are out of your control and, if this is the case, speak up! Was a new superior brought in who was determined to hire his or her former colleagues? Was there a change in the technology used that you simply weren’t qualified to handle? These are, unfortunately, common reasons people are terminated. Don’t come across as bitter, but certainly don’t feel pressured to spin this sort of explanation. Remember, no two interviewers are alike. It’s important to remember that, just because the individual doesn’t like your answer as to why you were fired, it doesn’t mean that the next listener will have the same reaction. Above all else, don’t get discouraged while attempting to “date” different careers, as the road to finding “the one” is almost never immediate. Online degrees have the same entry requirements as any other degrees. That is because they teach the same materials. Nevertheless, there is a certain universal quality about online degrees that makes them more versatile for a range of age groups and lifestyles. If you have been wondering if you would be able to go through school at an online college, you may be pleased to know that you could in fact get your education this way.
Here is a look at just how versatile going to school online is for the modern world. Many older people will not go back to school because they do not want to have to deal with twenty-somethings parading around campus all day. For some of them, it is also embarrassing to be the oldest person in a class, even though you should be able to get an education at any age. With accredited online degrees, you can spare any embarrassment, awkwardness, or annoyance because you can go to school right at home. None of your classmates or professors will know your age, so you can act just like anyone else would. The doors for your learning are wide open. If you have a physical issue that prevents you from spending a lot of time in public, the anonymousness of accredited online degrees can make for a perfect way for you to get your education. You can get an entire degree right on the computer, and you never have to leave your house to do so. If you actually plan to work online later on in life, you can get a degree in web design, internet marketing, or something along those lines so you can actually spend the rest of your life working within your own house. For people with families or existing jobs, accredited online degrees are perfect to provide a flexible learning schedule that they can actually work with. If this is you, you can actually go to school whenever you have time to do so, rather than having to make time to travel on campus. There are still schedules to abide by, but you can at least go to class and study when you have the time to do so. Just make sure you allot time to turn in your work by deadline and you should enjoy your collegiate pursuits. If you are the stereotypical college student, you might enjoy the convenience and affordability of accredited online degrees as well. Just about anyone can find something to like about online degree programs, and they are easy to get into if you have good grades and test scores. You can contact a school you want to go to for more information about whether you will be able to take part in one of their programs. You can get everything from a simple certificate to a graduate degree online. You just have to find the right school to go to and the right online degree program to go through. As you can see, just about everybody is cut out for an online college degree. No matter who you are or what kind of lifestyle you lead, you can get a college help on the web. It may take a little bit to get used to being in control of your education, but at the end of the day, you will love the flexibility and convenience you can get from going to school on the web. You can get a legitimate degree right from home, as long as you have the internet access to connect with your future. There are many sources of online college rankings that you can look into before you explore a college to go to. For the most part, higher ranked schools will charge more money for their services, but as a result, you will be able to get a better education. The competition in high ranked schools is intense, but if you remain focused throughout school, you should have no trouble getting into the program of your dreams. Rather than signing up for a school blindly, consider some of the following sources of information to use in researching the perfect institute for you.
You can find most online college rankings readily available on the internet. In some cases, these rankings come from students that have actually attended the school and wish to extend more information for other people about how good their education was. You can read over reviews from these students to see what the pros and cons of each school are, and that may help you form a wise decision about the place you want to go. Rather than testing a school for yourself, you can look to other peoples experiences to guide you in the right direction. You can find online college rankings on some college directory sites. There you may be able to search for a school by state or by degree until you find a list of the ones that you could potentially go to. From there, you can explore the rankings the site has setup to see which schools they are promoting the most. You do have to be careful about using certain directories though because in some cases, the schools will actually pay for high rankings on sites they want to advertise through. Make sure you get your information from a trustworthy source. You may be able to look to the US government for a list of online college rankings. Oftentimes the government will rate schools based on the education they provide students, and that information can give you an idea of what the top schools are in the country. You might even be able to check into magazines online and in stores because sometimes they have top ten or top twenty lists for you to explore. These are not quite as reliable, but they are still options to consider. You will inevitably form your own college rankings as you go through school. You may like one university because of the immense amount of degree programs it has to offer. Then you may like another because it is affordable. You have to keep all of those factors in mind when selecting a school to attend because that is the only way you can make a decision you will be happy with. Do not be afraid to change schools if you think one may be better than the other, as long as you do so for the right reasons. When youre working oon the web, transferring to other schools takes no time at all. In the end, you will have to decide how pertinent online college rankings will be to your overall decision. If you want to go to a school with low rankings because it is cheap or quick to get through, that is your prerogative. These ratings just give you an idea of which schools are supposedly the best in the country. Your version of the best may be different than someone elses though. Getting a degree online is a wise decision on all levels, and it is not hard to do. Take a look at the different colleges you have to choose from, and pick one that you think will work out for you. Online courses are incredibly convenient because they allow you to study whenever you want. The only problem that most people find with them is that they lack one-on-one time with the professor. This does not mean that your questions have to go unresolved. It just means that you have to put a tiny bit more effort into contacting the course instructor.
Here are some tips to help you get a hold of your instructor when youre taking an online class. Perhaps the most obvious way to contact a professor or essay writer working online is through email. For those of you who have been living under a log for your whole lives, email is just like snail mail but it is sent directly through the web. You most likely have some sort of email system setup through your college campus that you should use to talk with the professors. If you send them an email through Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo!, or something else along those lines, they may not respond to you. You can always have your campus mail forwarded to your standard email account if you worry about not seeing a response. Since I work online, I actually have all of my email accounts linked to a Gmail account so I dont have to log into 80 different email systems a day. You can set up the account so that you can actually write an email through a different email account so that no one knows youre forwarding the mail but you. This can give you the ideal access to your professor. Phone Phoning a professor is sometimes faster than talking through email, especially if you dont know how to fully describe whatever you are asking about. If youre going to call though, you need to make sure you call during the professors office hours. You should get that information in your course syllabus. You may call outside of office hours, but there is no guarantee you will get an answer. If you do get a response, it may not be a good one. Some professors are very picky about when they should and should not be bothered with phone calls. Instant Messaging Some professors will give out their IM information so students can chat with them. You could also check in your online classroom to see if there is a chat option there. Every setup is a little different, and you may not have instant messaging options at all. If you do though, you can have a conversation online quickly and easily. My husband used to talk to his Comp II professor through gchat all the time. Shes still on his contact list actually. Whats ironic is that she wasnt even an online professor, but hey, no complaints here. Video Chat You may be in an online class where you have to attend video seminars online. You could virtually raise your hand for a question then, or you could see if your professor uses a video chat system at all. Skype is one of the most popular system online, but there are others out there. If you can have a video chat with the professor, you should be able to ask any questions that you have as if you are having a direct conversation with the professor. Every online college student has questions, and you cant be afraid to ask them when they come up. The tips above should give you a few ideas as to how you can contact your professors in the future. This may lead to a better grade in the end. |
